Ms Shelly Johny V. was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2022-23, when a PhD student at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, for a study of trade in spices from the Periyar River Basin, Kerala, during the Iron Age/early Historica period and its impact on Indian Ocean exchange.
