Ms Purnima was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2022-23, when a Research Scholar at the School of Performing & Visual Art (IGNOU), Delhi, for a study of Chhatries (cenotaphs) or Shekhawati merchants in Sikar District of Rajasthan.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
