Ms Caroline Jane Cook was awarded an India Travel Award (1998-99) when Assistant Keeper of Non-Western Art, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, for research on historical and contemporary collections of textiles from Gujarat.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
