Ms Gethin Powell Rees was awarded an Indian Travel Award (2007-08) when PhD student, University of Cambridge, for a study of the relationship between Buddhism and trade through research on the rock-cut caves of the Western Ghats..

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
