Mr Sudhir Kumar was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 1995-96, when a MA student at the National Museum Institute, Delhi, for a study of Madhubani paintings.
Mr Kumar is currently freelancing as an artist along with his research focus on South-Asian visual cultures and their interdisciplinarity with- latest technological advancements; contemporary media; popular cultures; ecological concerns; archaeology; archival institutions and repositories; rituality; socio-economical dynamics; changing aesthetics; art-education; branding; fashion; photography; tourism; and other related areas.
