Mr Robin Jones was awarded an India Travel Award (2003-04) when Lecturer, Department of History, University of Southampton, to make a case study of colonial bungalows in South India and Sri Lanka.
Dr Robin Jones is a design historian with a special interest in the architecture, material culture and art of South Asia, particularly Sri Lanka from 1800 to the present day. Until 2016, he was Associate Professor in the School of Art and Design at Southampton Solent University, UK.
