Mr Nicholas Barnard was awarded an India Travel Award (2000-01) when Curatorial Assistant, Indian and South-East Asian Department, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, for a study of the garden in early India.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
