Mr G Krishnamurthy was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2007-08 (Jain Art Fund award), when Administrative Advisor, Tamilnadu Electricity Board, Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, to establish the prevalence of Jainism in Villupuram District, Tamilnadu, from 5th c. CE to the present, by tracing Jain temples and related inscriptions.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
