Mr Archishman Sarker was awarded a UK Travel Award (2023-24) when PhD student, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, to study materials in the UK relating to his study of illuminated Buddhist manuscripts from Eastern India (10th -12th centuries CE) with reference to iconographic developments, aesthetics and Madhya Maka thought in the late Pala period.
