Dr Vrushab Mahesh was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2013-14 when a PhD candidate and UGC Junior Research Fellow, Dept of Archaeology and Ancient History, Faculty of Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), for a study of oral traditions and contemporary practices associated with the Veerglas (Hero Stones) in Hassan District, Karnataka.
Dr Mahesh took his PhD at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) and is now Assistant Professor in the Dept of Archaeology and Ancient History.
