Dr V Selvakumar was awarded a UK Travel Award (2013-14) when Assistant Professor and Head of Department, Dept of Epigraphy and Archaeology, Tamil University Thanjavur, to deliver a paper at the international conference ‘Proto-globalisation in the Indian Ocean world: multi-disciplinary perspectives’ at Oxford University.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
