Dr Usha Rani Tewari was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 1995-96, when a student in the Dept of Museology, Faculty of Arts, Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, for a study of the art of the transition phase in Northern India.
Dr Rani is now Professor of Museology in the Faculty of Arts at Benaras Hindu University.
