Dr Toshabanta Padhan was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2007-08, when a PhD student at Deccan College, Pune, for a study of hunting and gathering traditions among the ethnic groups of Nuwapara District, Orissa.
Dr Padhan is an Associate Professor at Nalanda University, Bihar.
