Dr Sutapa Sinha was awarded a UK Travel Award (2016-17) when Associate Professor, Dept of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, for a study of Chinese ceramics and related material in the Percival David Collection at the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, School of Oriental and African Studies, British Library and other collections and archives.
