Dr Riza Abbas was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2018-19, when Director (Archaeology), Indian Numismatic Historical and Cultural Research Foundation, Nashik, for a study of the sacred landscape of Kotra Vihar, Kachchh, Gujarat.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
