Dr Riza Abbas was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2009-10, when Project Officer, Indian Rock Art Research Centre (IIRNS) Nashik, Maharashtra, for a study of sanctified Indian cattle in the light of neolithic and chalcolithic rock art.
Dr Abbas is now Director (Archaeology) at Indian Numismatic Historical and Cultural Research Foundation Nashik, Maharashta.
