Dr John Clarke was awarded an India Travel Award (2008-09) when Curator, Asian Department, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, for a study trip to major Buddhist sites relating to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, to inform research and documentation for the Museum’s new Buddhist sculpture gallery.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
