Dr Dipankar Pal was awarded a UK Travel Award (1997-98) while Project Coordinator, Bhopal Regional Science Centre, to visit the UK and Science Museums in the UK, for a comparative study of modern electronic and computer-based techniques used in display.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
