Dr A Ekambaranathan was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2008-09, when Professor and Head of Dept. of Ancient History, University of Madras, Chennai, Tamilnadu, for the study of Saiva icons of 6th – 9th century CE in Tamilnadu.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
