Dr Kaushik Gangopadhyay

Dr Kaushik Gangopadhyay was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship 2017-18, while Assistant Professor, Dept of Archaeology, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, to participate in an excavation conducted by the Museum of London Archaeology unit (MOLA) and for advanced training in urban and community archaeology.  

Dr V Selvakumar

Dr V Selvakumar was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship (2018-19), while Assistant Professor, Dept of Epigraphy and Archaeology, Tamil University, Thanjavur. The award was for training on scientific analysis of ceramics at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London and the British Museum, in relation to his studies of ceramics in South India.   

Ms R Vaishnavi

Ms R. Vaishnavi was awarded a UK Visiting Fellowship while Curator, Piramal Art Foundation, Chennai/Mumbai, for research in UK collections on drawings created for surgeons based in colonial Madras as part of a larger study on the relationship between art, science and economic value.

Dr Sushmita Banerjee was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship 2019-20 while Assistant Professor, History Dept, Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi, for her study: “Adab and the making of an Islamic world view: the Risala-i–Nuriyya Sultaniyya and normative structures in 17th Century South Asia”.

Dr Arjun Rao, was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship  2019-20 while Assistant Professor, Department of History and Archaeology, Central University, Karnataka, to study Raymond Allchin’s thesis and other collections relating to prehistoric sites of Raichur Doab, Karnataka.

Dr Sangeeta Dasgupta

Dr Sangeeta Dasgupta was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship 2020-21 while Associate Professor, Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for her research on anthropologist S.C Roy.  Due to COVID-19 the award was taken  up in 2023-24. 

Ms Priya Kapoor

Ms Priya Kapoor, was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship (Charles Wallace India Trust) 2020-21, while Conservator, International Heritage Conservation, for a programme on the structural conservation of Sikh Manuscripts at Pothi Seva Foundation, London. Due to COVID-19 the award was taken up in 2022-23. 

Ms Siddha Shah

Ms Siddha Shah was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship (Jain Art Fund) 2022-23, while a PhD student, Museum Studies, MS University Baroda, to visit representative collections in the UK, for research on architectural representation on Jain Chitrapatas and Manuscripts.
