Ms Prerana Khandelwal
Ms Prerana Khandelwal, was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship 2023-24 while a PhD student, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, for research on UK collections in relation to a study of equine knowledge and representation in Rajput court paintings. She was awarded her PhD in 2025.
Ms Zenab Khan
Ms Zenab Khan was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship (Charles Wallace India Trust) in 2024-25, while a Junior Research Associate, Swaraj Sansthan Sanchalnanlay, Ravindra Bhawan Campus, Swaraj Bhawan, Bhopal. The award was for research on the uprising of 1857 and the interdependence of Visual and Print Culture in Shaping British Perception”.
Ms Naphibahun Lyngdoh
Ms Naphibahun Lyngdoh, was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship, while Manager Heritage and Conservation, Meghalayan Age Limited, Planning Department, Government of Meghalaya. She visited the UK for her project entitled “Museum Display, Documentation, and Collection Care”, relating to the development of open-air archaeological museums in Meghalaya.
Dr Nimra Rizvi
Dr Nimra Rizvi, received the UK Visiting Fellowship 2025-2026, while a Post-doctoral fellow, Azim Premji University, Bhopal. The award was for archival research relating to her study: “Loot from Lucknow: reorienting collection, circulation and knowledge”.
Mr Avirup Mukherjee
Mr Avirup Mukherjee, was awarded the UK Visiting Fellowship 2025-26, while a PhD student, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi. He used the award to attend a course in identifying and describing historic textiles in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.
