Small Study and Research Grant (India)
For Indian students and researchers who wish to do fieldwork within India.
Overview
The Trust awards a number of small study and research grants to students, scholars and professionals based in India for the purpose of undertaking short periods of fieldwork and for the acquisition of research materials essential to their work within India in the field of Indian art and cultural heritage.
Grant Amount:
The awards are up to a maximum of Rs 50,000/-
Eligibility
These awards are available to citizens of India, who are postgraduate students, scholars or professionals engaged in the study of India’s art and culture.
Duration
These awards must be taken up in the financial year from May of the year of the award to the end of March of the subsequent year.
Institutional Affiliation
Candidates are required to demonstrate their institution’s support for their application, and that they have established communication with any institution relevant to their application.
Final Report
At the conclusion of their research, award holders must submit a report of approximately 5000 words on their project, along with a financial statement of their expenses, and a copy of their original estimated budget.
