Ms Smitha Cariappa was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 1996-97, when an artist in Bangalore, to study artistic expressions of the Kodavas through artefacts, ritual and performance.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
