Mr P Umachandramaheshwari was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2001-02, when a music teacher  at L.R.R, Vidyalaya, Srivilliputtur, for a study of the musical heritage of Sriandal temple at Srivilliputtur, Tamilnadu.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
