Mr R Selvam was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2001-02, when a technician at the Audio Visual Centre, Tamil University, Thanjavur, for video-documentation of ornamental shell industries of the Ramanathapuram coast of Tamilnadu.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
