Dr Sima Roy Chowdhury was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2001-02, when a research scholar, Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training for Eastern India, for a survey of the Jaina sculptural tradition in Bengal.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
