Dr J Raja Mohamad was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2001-02, when Curator, Government Museum, Pudukkottai, Tamilnadu, for a study of the coinage of the European trading companies on the Coromandel coast from the 17th century.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
