Ms K S Chitra was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2002-03, when a PhD student in the M H Krishna Institute of Indology, Mythic Society, Bangalore, for a study of the religious objects of the Lingayat community in Kodagu District, Karnataka.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
