Ms Julie Barooah was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2002-3, when Academic Services Officer at the Archieves and Research Centre for Ethnomusicology of the America Institute of Indian Studies, Gurgaon, Haryana, for a study of masks (mukha) of Assam in their socio-cultural context.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
