Mr Swarup Bhattacharya was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2003-04, when a researcher at the Institute of Tribal History, Kolkata, for a study of the West Bengal boat race and the culture of boats.Swarup

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
