Dr S B Darsana was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2007-08, when a post-doctoral fellow, School of Social Sciences, MG University, Kottayam, for a study reviewing the research undertaken by British antiquarians and Indian scholars in Kerala from 1823 to 1947 and their interpretations.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
