Mr Gowrisankar S. was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2013-14, when a research student in the Dept of Epigraphy and Archaeology, Tamil University, Thanjavur, for a study of irrigation systems of the Central Kaveri river in the period between 800 and 1900 CE.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
