Dr Aftab Alam was awarded a Small Study and Research Grant (India) 2022-23, when a post-doctoral Research Associate, Banaras Hindu University, for analysis and comparison of Indus materials from Khanak and Masudpur with the materials housed in Purana Qila, New Delhi.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
