Dr Swati Biswas

Dr Swati Biswas was awarded a UK Travel Award (2016-17) when Assistant Professor, Dept of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, to consult Akbari manuscripts in UK collections (London, Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester) in relation to her study of the Mughal Empire.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
