Mr Sila Tripathi, UK Visiting Fellowship (2007-08), while Technical Officer and Maritime Archaeologist, National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, for a study of the maritime trade, the mariners of Prissa and their knowledge of the monsoon winds and currents.

Dr Tripati, is now (2026) Maritime Archaeologist (Principal Technical Officer) at National Institute of Oceanography.

The trust offers funding to students (graduates and PhDs), scholars and museum professionals based in India and the UK to undertake study and research in both countries.
